Well it has been a hot & busy summer!  Some of the projects I have worked on in August are:    Repaired a gooseneck trailer that got loaded a little too heavy – ouch!  Replaced a jack on another flat trailer.  Silage Wagon needed some work.  I modified a tool box that would not fit in a clients new truck.  I made some “rub rails” for a Jeep.  Made some skid plates for a brush hog.  Repaired a sausage stuffer.  Repaired an heirloom kettle.  Also repaired a “keepsake” swing.

I have been busy making tuckpointing tools – jointers, & rakers.  Have had several brush hog blades to sharpen.  Also Backhoe Bits, Rivet Buster & Jackhamer bits to sharpen.

My fun project was restoring a treasured tricycle for a client.  Her grandchildren had driven the tires & wheels off the trike.  They now have treadplate wheels!!!!!!

Congratulations to Ben Eggering on his 6th place FFA project.  Ben made a blade for his gramdpa to use on the farm.  I was glad to be able to advise Ben as he worked on his FFA Project.  As mentioned Ben place 6th at the Lincoln County Fair.  He took the blade to the Missouri State Fair & received a gold ribbon!!!  Way to go Ben!

Better get back to work!!
